Hair oil is a finishing step. A single pump warmed between the palms is enough for most lengths.
Apply from mid-length to ends on damp hair before drying, or on dry hair to smooth and add gloss. Keep it away from the roots.
Fine hair needs less than you think. Start small and add only if the ends still feel dry.
