Choosing your shade of nude lipstick

A nude that works is usually one or two tones deeper than your natural lip colour, not lighter.

Look at the undertone of your skin: warm complexions suit caramel and rosewood, cooler ones suit mauve and soft pink-brown.

Test in daylight and on the lips themselves. The back of the hand rarely tells the truth.
